Agnes Su, a songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and aspiring Folklorist, lives in the forests of northern Michigan. She began her career in music when she was five years old by studying and performing with the Grand Rapids Strings Academy.
Agnes Su has since worked with Hawks and Owls String Band and recorded with Major Murphy, has booked a handful of local shows, and has organized a successful fundraiser for the non-profit, MusiCares. She and her backing bands have performed at Wheatland Music Festival, The Spirit of the Woods Folk Festival, and at venues such as the Alluvion, Old Art Building, and Interlochen Arts Academy. She regularly hosts the Folk Aire program on local college radio station, WNMC. Most of all, Agnes is a gal with a country western heart.
